I created these bee hearts for playgroup last week. We all met up with our littles and brought either snacks or a craft at the local library. Of course I chose to bring a craft!
Logan’s preschool class came over to make them as well and I will also bring them to my son’s 1st grade Valentine’s Day party – so even better that they work for a widespread of ages! They are easy and cute and lots of fun! It makes it easier if you have a Silhouette machine but absolutely not necessary.
I had my 2 littlest helpers with me to guide my every step! I used the rectangle shape tool on the Silhouette to make these antennae:
Kellen helped me to pull them off…
I traced a heart and copied it many times – this is what it looks like on the screen for the yellow, black and red hearts:
Exciting stuff watching the Cameo work it’s magic! Yellow hearts…
Smoothing the cardstock down with the scraper is Logan’s favorite part!
Watch out! Kellen is ready to glue!
Craft day with the kids was a success!!
