How to make
Step 1: Baking the cake pops
in a small bowl we combined flour and baking soda and set aside.
When the batter was made, we used a small cookie scoop to fill in the mold of the cake pop maker. This time the batter was a bit runny, but it all worked out. I usually fill them almost to the top.
I also use a toothpick to go around the edges as I take them out so they turn out round.
As you can see in the video – I like to add a bit of coconut oil to the candy melts to make a runny consistency – I melt them in the microwave 2 min.
Then I like to dip the sticks in the candy melts first then stick them in the pops.
I freeze them for 5 min. This is an added step to make sure the cake pops adhere to the sticks.
Step 2: Decorating!
These round cake pop racks work really well to separate them and allows them to dry without touching each other.
mmmmm good!
Step 3: Wrapping them up fancy
I’m lucky to have my little Kellen to help me!
And… here they are! Darling cake pops ready to pop in Valentines!
They also make great festive centerpieces as well. So fun!!
