Hi all!
I had such a fun day with my mama friends & their littles. It was a Starbucks playdate! Because all of the mamas are frequent Starbucks customers (my Kellen always points out the logo to me as we drive by!) we thought it would be fun to create some props for dramatic play!
Here’s a video of the ideas:
So….
We started out with these green aprons.
I designed the logo in Design Space using my Cricut. I used a free font called: Santana Black
I cut out white Cricut Strong Bond htv.
And…used the Easy Press to adhere it to the aprons.
I always use the Easy Press mat under the cloth.
I used my favorite 651 permanent vinyl, Angel Crafts transfer paper, Cricut mat & Cricut tools to adhere the vinyl stickers to Starbucks cups – purchased for $2 at Starbucks.
It took a while to design the circles in Design Space, but once I had the pattern down, I could change up the names.
At the last minute I thought of something else…we needed an official sign with the family last name! So I made us all Starbucks signs for our pretend kitchens.
While at Starbucks, they were so sweet to let me have some cups to play with.
So…it was a delightful day with my mama friends, and the kids were so happy too! They knew just what to order & have us order.
They were super proud of their aprons!
So it made it all worth it!
The youngest little guy is 6 months, so last minute I found a little sippy cup to add his name to as well.
Such a fun fun day!!
Happy Crafting!
